The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs holds bilateral talks with his Tunisian counterpart
On January 27, 2025, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, who paid an official visit to Algeria. These talks allowed for a review of the fraternal and partnership relations between the two sisterly countries and to discuss prospects for raising them to the highest possible levels.
The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, also received on the same day the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Mr. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic, and Mr. Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs.
Following the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad made a statement in which he affirmed the depth of the long-standing fraternal relations between Algeria and Tunisia, and the keenness of the Tunisian leadership to make further efforts to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation with Algeria.
After noting that he conveyed to the President of the Republic the greetings of his brother, President Kais Saied, the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that this meeting was a renewed opportunity for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to affirm his appreciation, respect and affection for the President of the Tunisian Republic. In this regard, the importance of developing an effective and ambitious action plan aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in priority areas for the two countries was emphasized.
He also noted that he informed the President of the Republic of the agenda of the meeting he held with the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, expressing his hope that the action plan that will be developed will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and pushing it towards a strategic partnership covering all levels.
