Passport:
Requirements for obtaining a passport:
- Complete the passport application form at the following link: https://passeport.interieur.gov.dz/Fr/Telechargement/formulaire.pdf
+ Attach this form in case of guardianship via the following link:
- Present your consular registration card
- Copy of your residence permit
- Four (4) recent color biometric passport photos with a white background, measuring 35*45 mm
- Original S12 secure birth certificate
- Blood type card
- Payment of the applicable fees
Passport renewal:
- Complete the passport application form at the following link: https://passeport.interieur.gov.dz/Fr/Telechargement/formulaire.pdf
- Present your consular registration card
- Return the expired passport or complete a form pledging to return the passport after transferring the information
- Copy of your residence permit
- Two (2) recent color passport photos with a white background, measuring 35*45 mm
- Original S12 secure birth certificate
- Payment of the applicable fees The required documents
National Identity Card:
The Algerian Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities has made available to members of the national community abroad who hold a biometric passport an online portal enabling them to request an electronic biometric national identity card using their National Identity Number (NIN), located directly below the photograph on their passport, and their passport number.

Note:
In case of loss of the national identity card, the applicant must submit a loss report issued by the police station in their area of residence, a declaration of loss issued by the consular services, and pay the required fees.
