Statement

In application of the high instructions of the President of the Republic and his full commitment to addressing the concerns of members of the national community abroad and with the aim of facilitating the procedures for their entry into the homeland and their return to their usual places of residence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs our citizens residing abroad and holders of valid foreign passports that they may, exceptionally, and until December 31, 2025, enter and exit the national territory without obtaining a visa in advance, while adhering to the use of the same documents upon entry and exit according to one of the two cases:

1. Presenting a valid foreign passport accompanied by an electronic biometric national identity card even if it is expired,

2. Presenting a valid foreign passport accompanied by an Algerian biometric passport even if it is expired.

As for children under 15 years of age who do not have an Algerian identity document and who travel with their parents or legal guardian, it is sufficient to present:

1- A civil status document proving the family link (family booklet, family civil status certificate, birth certificate ....)

2- And/or documents proving the status of the legal guardian (sponsorship, guardianship ruling ....)
