Mr. Attaf Holds Talks with the Acting Executive Director of the World Food Program

Continuing his activities within the framework of his working visit to New York, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held talks today with the Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Mr. Carl Skau, where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Algeria and the World Food Programme, which aims to meet humanitarian needs and support the most vulnerable groups, especially in light of the worsening crises and their impact on food security, particularly in Africa and the Middle East .

The two sides also discussed the serious challenges facing the program in Gaza, especially with the approach of winter, as well as strengthening its efforts to ensure an effective response and to continue providing the necessary support for the humanitarian needs of Sahrawi refugees
