Mr. Attaf holds a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart

Mr. Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Mr. Badr Abdel-Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt .

The contact allowed for continued consultation and coordination between the two ministers on a range of bilateral, international and regional issues .

In this regard, both parties stressed the importance of maintaining the positive momentum in the partnership relations between Algeria and Egypt, in the context of efforts to implement the outcomes of the ninth session of the Joint High Committee, particularly in the economic fields .

On the multilateral level, the two ministers discussed the current situation in the Arab world and Africa, particularly the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and the developments in the Gulf region, Sudan, Libya and the Sahara
