Minister Attaf chaired the ceremony commemorating the National Day of Algerian Diplomacy

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, supervised today at the Ministry’s headquarters the ceremony to commemorate the National Day of Algerian Diplomacy, which coincides with the date of Algeria’s accession to the United Nations, on October 8, 1962, under the slogan: “Fixed Positions in Support of Just Causes.” .

The celebration ceremony was attended by representatives of various official bodies, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps, international and regional organizations accredited in Algeria, employees and executives of the ministry, former ambassadors, historians and researchers.

On this occasion, a documentary tape highlighting the most important achievements of Algerian diplomacy was shown, and a lecture was organized on “The role of Algerian diplomacy in establishing peace and security.”

On the sidelines of the celebrations, an exhibition was also organized that included a collection of documents and photographs relating to the most important achievements of Algerian diplomacy, in addition to an exhibition of the most important books that dealt with the history of Algerian diplomacy.
