Astana, August 20, 2024

Today, the Algerian Embassy in Kazakhstan celebrated the "National Moudjahid Day", which falls on August 20 of each year, under the slogan "Loyalty, Construction and Continuity", in commemoration of the heroes of the glorious liberation revolution, the righteous Moudjahidines, in the presence of the entire embassy staff.

On this occasion, the national flag was raised at the embassy headquarters, the national anthem was played, then the Surat "Fatiha" of "Qoran" was read, before a minute of silence was observed in memory of the souls of the righteous martyrs.

His Excellency Ambassador Kamel Fenniche also gave a speech in which he mentioned the historical importance of this great day and that Algeria is proud of its glories and loyal to its martyrs and to the message of November, and he recalled the words of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, that the issue of national memory is a sacred national duty. He, then, recalled the importance of this anniversary, as the national liberation process indicates the Algerian cause, on the one hand, and the structuring and organization of military and political work, on the other hand, and that the attack on northern Constantine in 1955 made it possible to raise the voice of the Algerian people on the agenda of the United Nations.

After the speech of His Excellency the Ambassador, everyone prayed for the souls of the martyrs, wishing them glory and immortality, and that their place, Incha Allah, will be in Paradise.

Long live Algeria, glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs.
