Ambassador's Address on the 64th Anniversary of Independence

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is my pleasure, on this glorious day, to stand before you to commemorate together the 64th anniversary of Algeria's independence. This immortal national occasion reminds us of the meanings of sacrifice, loyalty, and the will to build a free, united, and fully sovereign state. July 5th is not merely a date in the nation's history, but a foundational moment forged by the sacrifices of millions of martyrs who gave their lives so that the homeland might live independent, proud, and steadfast towards the future.
Our celebration of Independence Day coincides with the celebration of Youth Day, honoring this segment of society that today represents the nation's vital force, the cornerstone of its renaissance, and the bridge to its future. The youth of Algeria, both within the country and abroad, embody the values of work, innovation, and national commitment, and reaffirm on every occasion their ability to carry on the legacy of their forefathers and develop it in accordance with the challenges and demands of our time.
Today, Algeria places paramount importance on empowering its youth, involving them in decision-making, and providing the necessary conditions to unleash their creative potential in the fields of science, economics, technology, and diplomacy. Here at our diplomatic mission in the Republic of Kazakhstan, we are committed to ensuring that the voice of Algerian youth is present and heard in all forums, and to opening up avenues for cooperation, exchange, and the sharing of expertise, thereby strengthening Algeria's presence and serving its strategic interests.

The celebration of Independence Day is also an occasion to reaffirm Algeria's unwavering commitment to the principles of peace, international cooperation, respect for the sovereignty of states, and the strengthening of partnerships based on trust and mutual benefit. In this context, Algeria and Kazakhstan continue to build strong and constantly evolving relations across various fields, and we are confident that the future holds even greater opportunities to deepen this cooperation in a way that serves the aspirations of both our peoples.
In conclusion, today we renew our pledge of loyalty to the sacrifices of our martyrs, we salute the youth of Algeria wherever they may be, and we affirm that the process of building our nation continues. Algeria, with its glorious history and the strength of its people, is capable of facing all challenges and realizing all our hopes. May Algeria remain independent, proud, and safe every year. We pray to God Almighty to protect its youth and make them a renewed force propelling it towards a better future.
