Visa Procedures for Participating in the Fourth (04) Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025)
I- CONSULAR VISA
Submission of Applications
Upon receipt of the participant lists by the diplomatic and consular posts, interested parties may contact the Algerian embassies and consulates in their place of residence to submit their visa applications.
Applications may be submitted individually or collectively through the focal points designated by AFREXIMBANK.
Only participants whose names appear on the lists sent by the central administration may submit visa applications.
Application Requirements
• Completed and signed visa application form;
• Passport with at least 6 months of validity;
• Photocopy of the passport pages containing personal information;
• Document certifying validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform;
• Two recent passport-sized photos;
• Payment of visa fees;
• Hotel reservation**;
• Round-trip flight reservation**. ** Otherwise, interested parties can submit their applications and must provide these two documents when collecting their visas.
Visa Processing and Validity
Holders of diplomatic and service passports, as well as passes from regional and international organizations, are subject to the usual procedures for applying for entry visas into the country. Exemption is subject to the existence of a visa exemption agreement for holders of these types of travel documents.
Processing times should not exceed one week.
Regarding visa validity, diplomatic and consular posts will issue visas according to the following procedures:
- For individual participants: a one-month, single-entry tourist visa to cover only the event period (valid from August 15 to September 15);
- For exhibitors: a three-month, multiple-entry business visa; - Employees who are members of bank delegations who need to travel to Algeria several times for business meetings: 6-month multiple-entry business visa.
II- VISAS ON ARRIVAL
For duly justified exceptional cases, visas on arrival will be issued in coordination with the relevant departments of the Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities and Regional Planning (MICLAT).
Conditions of Issuance
All foreigners arriving in Algeria are required to present themselves to the competent authorities responsible for border control at border crossings, with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa.
However, in emergency cases, the Border Patrol may exceptionally issue a regularization visa to foreigners who present themselves at border crossings without a visa.
This measure applies to foreign nationals whose country of residence does not have diplomatic or consular representation.
The following documents are required:
1- Regularization visa application form;
2- Valid passport (more than 6 months old);
3- Copy of passport pages containing personal information;
4- Documents proving entry to Algerian territory (document confirming registration on the IATF 2025 platform);
5- Payment of the visa fees set by Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Act;
6- Proof of accommodation within the country (hotel reservation);
7- Return ticket.
To board a flight to an Algerian airport, participants requiring a visa on arrival must have a boarding certificate issued by the relevant departments of our ministry.
